Services Offered
Initial Consultation
Before beginning therapy sessions, an initial consultation is completed to understand your child’s speech and language development. This 60 to 90-minute session allows for determining:
• Whether your child would benefit from therapy
• The recommended frequency of therapy sessions
• Goals to target during therapy
During this consultation, questions are asked to gain an understanding of your child’s development. Your child’s communication skills will be assessed using informal methods. The assessment is primarily play-based, making it a fun and engaging experience. Often, children don’t even realize they are being assessed! This approach helps ensure the assessment is as natural and comfortable as possible for your child.
Speech and Language Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions are conveniently held in your child's home or educational setting, tailored to suit the environment that works best for your family.
The structure of each session may vary based on several factors, including your child's age, specific therapy goals, and the surrounding environment. Typically, sessions include a mix of parent coaching, play, and structured activities. With a focus on making each session engaging, we ensure that learning is fun and effective for your child.
Additional Services Offered
In addition to tailored therapy sessions, we offer a comprehensive range of speech and language services designed to support your child's development in various settings:
