Trisha Pranjivan
Founder
speech -language pathologist
I was born and raised in Surrey, BC, and I’m a proud mom to a toddler, a newborn, and my fur-baby Maple. I love to travel, go on hikes with my dog, and spend time with my family. I spent six years in London, where I gained valuable experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in multidisciplinary private practice and school settings. While in London, I also started a speech therapy blog, which was nominated for the UK Blog Awards.
I have been working with children with special needs for the past 15 years and have dedicated the past decade to passionately supporting children and their families with specialized speech-language services. I specialize in early intervention and Autism Spectrum Disorders, providing neurodiversity-affirming care that respects and celebrates each child’s unique differences. My approach is play-based and child-led, ensuring that therapy honors each child’s pace and interests. As a mom, I bring a personal understanding and empathy to my therapy sessions, creating a warm and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Miranda Smith
Speech -Language Pathology assistant
My passion for language and people has led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at SFU. It continues to spur me on as I work toward becoming a real Speech-Language Pathologist--hopefully one day I can be as cool as Trisha! I believe that each child has a unique way of experiencing and interpreting the world around them, and that we adults can learn a lot from them if we give them the skills and tools they need to get their message across. My mission is to equip them to do just that! Outside of work, my time is often filled with youth group game planning, martial arts training, or trying new DIY recipes (I'm going to try yogurt next--I'll let you know how it goes)!
Jamie Steeves
speech -language pathology assistant
I am a linguistics student studying at SFU aspiring to become an SLP. I was drawn to this career because I love working with children and I bring with me valuable experience in my work with kids of various abilities through the Special Olympics. Outside of work and school you will find me out in the sun or reading a book.
